About the Authors

Donald O. Clifton founded Selection Research, Inc. Selection Research, Inc. grew to become a nationally recognized company in the fields of personnel selection, management research, and survey research. In 1988 Selection Research, Inc. acquired the Gallup Organization, Inc. This new organization became the Gallup Organization. The company is best known for The Gallup Poll. Clifton expects the company to continue growing worldwide. Don and his wife, Shirley, have four children and nine grandchildren. They all live in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Paula Nelson, known to millions from her commentary on CNN Business News and Today, is an entrepreneur and best-selling author. Before the age of thirty she penned The Joy of Money, the first of her four books on excellence, success and economic freedom, which sold over 500,000 copies. Today there are nearly one million Paula Nelson books in print. The Paula Nelson Group, based in New York City and is a company dedicated to communicating the “strengths” message to business leaders, educators and individuals worldwide, through training and consulting.
