About the Author
Dr. Harold N. Levinson, M.D. is a world-renowned psychiatrist and neurologist. Dr. Levinson began his pioneering research on dyslexia 35 years ago within the New York City Board of Education. Previously Clinical Associate Professor of Psychiatry at NYU Medical Center, Dr. Levinson is currently Clinical/Research Director of the Levinson Medical Center for Learning Disabilities—now active in New York, England, and Hong Kong.He has written eight books and many scientific papers dealing with the cerebellar-vestibular (inner-ear) origins and treatments of dyslexia and related learning, attention deficit and anxiety or phobic disorders. His groundbreaking research has been reviewed by such popular media as The New York Times, Science, Time, and Smithsonian, as well as by national and even international radio and TV.
