About the Author
John Harvey-Jones created and presented Troubleshooter, the most successful television series on business ever shown in Britain. Before that he worked his way up the ladder at ICI to become Chairman. While there, he was consistently recognised as Britain's most successful businessman. He was also Chairman of the Policy Studies Institute, of the British Institute of Management, and Chancellor of Bradford University. He has seven honorary degrees and has written a number of books - though this one is the definitive statement of his ideas on management and leadership.
