If that were enough, everyone would reach their potential. What’s missing are things people need in addition to their talent. Many business leaders today place too much emphasis on talent alone. Renowned leadership expert John C. Maxwell contends that this is the wrong way to approach success. “If talent alone is enough, then why do you and I know highly talented people who are not highly successful?” Society’s landscape is strewn with people who could have been great—those who show amazing promise but never each their full potential. And then there are the others, like Jefferson, Nameth, Churchill, Bono, Oprah, and Dickens, who went to the next level by multiplying and maximizing their talent and improved the world around them in the process. Maxwell believes first that you have talent, and second, that you can improve it. With compelling examples from many who maximized their talent and a few who did not, he shares the secret of thirteen key choices you can make to become a talent-plus person. About the Author John C. Customer Reviews Write your own online review. Is this really true or an issue?? August 15, 2007 Reviewer: James T from NSW, Australia Well, I have never read this book ok!, but when I saw the title heading of this book by John C. Maxwell! I really wondered does it really matter, even if you just have talent(s) & not successful? - The point is that without 'God' it may not mean a thing at all!, even if you have such great talents etc. This is what I believe, because I have talent(s) even though I'm not recognised for it in society! I also want to stress the fact, that there is so much competition, & strife in the world today, that it is not at all funny, regardless of not being a "Talent plus" ok.
