Leading Views: Getting Another PerspectiveIn The Velocity Manifesto author Scott Klososky reminds us of the importance of getting another perspective:When I was CEO out building my technology companies, I never realized how limited my thinking was until I became a consultant and speaker. When you go to the same office and are surrounded by the same people every day, and you are thinking about solving the same problems over and over again, you invariably become a bit myopic. Only by getting away from your usual world and observing other, very different environments can you build the skill of assimilating ideas from other industries into your own. Perspective is a powerful thing, and looking at the world through the eyes of another industry is a great move. Of Related Interest: 5 Leadership Lessons: The Velocity Manifesto
