Leading Views: You Can’t Do It Without LoveIn Up, Down, or Sideways, Mark Sanborn asks:So how are you doing with love? One method I use to assess myself in this area is to plug my name into a familiar passage from the Bible—1 Corinthians 13:4-7. It says, “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.”Replace the word love (and the pronouns that represent it) with your name, and if you’re like me, it will convict you and challenge you.
